Felony possession of ecstasy – DISMISSED AT PRELIMINARY HEARING – CASE DISMISSED

SI was observed urinating by police officers on a public sidewalk. When the police officers tried to apprehend him he attempted to flee by scaling a fence. The police officers were able to catch SI and placed him under arrest. A search of SI’s pockets revealed that he was carrying ecstasy. He was then charged with indecent exposure, resisting arrest, and felony possession of a controlled substance.
Prior to the start of a Preliminary Hearing we were able to negotiate a deal with the State where all charges were dropped in exchange for attending a class on drug use. CASE DISMISSED.
