DISMISSED AT PRELIMINARY HEARING – CLASS X POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (108 ecstasy pills, cocaine)

FB was arrested last month while attending a party in a hotel room downtown. After receiving several complaints, the hotel manager had asked the guests to check out. When they failed do so the police were called. The hotel manager accompanied the Chicago police officers to the hotel room door and they knocked.

When the hotel door was opened, the officer claimed that FB attempted to throw 2 clear plastic bags out the window. 2 plastic bags containing pills and a powdery white substance were allegedly recovered from the windowsill.

Our investigation uncovered the fact that at least 6 other adult individuals were present in the hotel room at the time police entered. Additionally, the window of the room lacked the capacity to be opened more than 2 inches. The story the police officers told was simply not believable. CHARGES DISMISSED.
